According to the petrographical analysis performed by IGME (Institute of Geology and Mineral Exploration) in Greece, BMI’s marble is a fine grained Pre-Cambrian White Dolomitic Marble. Its chemical composition is displayed in Table 1 and its characteristics in Table 2.

The marble deposit in the area of Prilep is widely known to the scientific and business world and is among the largest in the world.
It is estimated that the entire marble reserves that exist in BMI’s concession area exceed 16 million m3 of commercial marble blocks.
